Joul Karram, an international player from Israel, is making his mark on the Runnin’ Utes college basketball team in Salt Lake City. With experience playing for Israeli national teams and in Europe, Karram brings a unique skill set and perspective to the team. He made a strong impression during the 2024 FIBA U18 Eurobasket tournament, where Israel made a deep run.
After committing to Utah just before September, Karram is adjusting to life in the United States and the challenges of playing in a competitive conference. Despite the cultural differences and the distance from home, Karram is excited for the road ahead with the Runnin’ Utes.
Karram recently made his collegiate debut and is looking forward to facing off against Big 12 teams and experiencing different crowds. As the Runnin’ Utes gear up for a game against the Eastern Washington Eagles, Karram’s global basketball experience and dedication are sure to make an impact on the team’s success.
