The Utah men’s basketball team dominated Mississippi Valley State 94-48 in their Mountain to Sea Showcase opener at the Jon M. Huntsman Center. Lawson Lovering made an impressive season debut with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Gabe Madsen led the scoring with 27 points, hitting 7 three-pointers. Miro Little also had a standout game with 16 points and 6 rebounds. The team played great team-ball, assisting on 29 of 33 made field goals and shooting 62.1% from the floor. With this win, Utah achieved its 1200th home victory as a program.
