The Utes football team will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday, honoring teammates Aaron Lowe and Ty Jordan who were tragically killed months apart. Aaron’s mother, Donna Sterns, organized a charitable event in Utah to keep her son’s memory alive, collecting coats, gloves, hats, and blankets for the homeless. Over 200 coats were collected, with 75% being brand new donations. Utes football team members helped distribute the items and serve meals to around 100 homeless individuals. The event was organized by the Keep’em Smiling Alowe Foundation, in honor of Aaron Lowe’s giving spirit. Ty Jordan’s aunt, Takka Jordan, also participated in the event, emphasizing the importance of giving back to the community. Both Aaron and Ty were remembered for their kindness and generosity, with Sterns recalling a moment from Aaron’s youth when he gave away his own shoes to someone in need. The act of kindness brought joy and happiness to the community, honoring the lasting impact of these two young men.
