The Hong Kong International Optical Fair is set to take place from November 6 to 8 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, showcasing cutting-edge eyewear designs from over 700 exhibitors. The event, organized by the HKTDC and HKOMA, will feature exhibitors from 17 countries, presenting innovative eyewear products under various themes such as Smart Eyewear, sustainability, and smart ageing optical products.
In addition to the exhibition, the fair will host the 22nd Hong Kong International Optometric Symposium, focusing on Myopia control and prevention, along with talks and seminars on advancements in the industry. The 24th Hong Kong Eyewear Design Competition, themed Be Bold, will allow designers to showcase their creativity on an international stage.
Highlighted designers at the event include Solos Technology Limited with their smart eyewear equipped with ChatGPT-4, Reform Eyewear with patented bendable frames, Yagioka Eyewear for elegance, and Inon Eyewear inspired by luxury jewels. The fair will also feature Nano Vista Children’s Sports Eyewear for young adventurers, and sustainable options like Eleung Eyewear and Mellan Eyewear.
With a focus on technology, lifestyle, functionality, and sustainability, the Hong Kong International Optical Fair promises to be a hub of innovation and creativity in the eyewear industry. The event will run from November 6 to 8 and is open to trade visitors aged 18 and above.
