Utah State’s golf team achieved a season-best 15-under 849 to secure third place at the Monterrey Collegiate Classic in Mexico. This marks the fourth consecutive tournament in which the team has finished under par and their third top-three finish this fall. The Aggies have had an impressive fall schedule, securing four top-10 finishes in five tournaments.
North Dakota State emerged as the tournament victor with a 26-under 838, followed by Loyola Maryland in second place at 16-under 848. UTRGV’s Juan Luis Bethencourt claimed the individual title with a 13-under 203.
Key performers for Utah State included graduate John Cook and senior Julio Arronte, who both tied for 17th place at 4-under 212. Cook had a career-best 54-hole score and has recorded five under-par finishes, while Arronte achieved his fifth consecutive under-par finish this fall.
Sophomore Enrique Karg also shined with a career-best score of 2-under 214, recording his second under-par finish. Senior Esteban Jaramillo and graduate Cole Enlow also delivered solid performances for the Aggies.
