The National Women’s Soccer League announced the name of its newest team, BOS Nation Football Club, set to debut in 2026. The Boston team is led by an all-female core ownership group, including Jennifer Epstein, Stephanie Connaughton, Ami Danoff, and Anna Palmer. The team name is an anagram for “Bostonian” and represents the city’s strength, creativity, and pride. The brand reveal included a cheeky “Too Many Balls” campaign, featuring provocative ads with references to various types of “balls,” including a humorous clip of Tom Brady. The team’s primary color is “Championship Green,” symbolizing Boston’s resilience and commitment to victory. The team will play home games at White Stadium, which will be renovated to become the first all-electric stadium in North America. Big-name investors of the team include Aly Raisman and Elizabeth Banks, who are excited to support women’s sports in Boston. BOS Nation FC aims to push boundaries on and off the field and contribute to the growth of women’s soccer in the city during a time of explosive growth for women’s sports in the NWSL.
